Market Overview

The City of Evansville, the second-largest city in Indiana, is situated on a gentle horseshoe bend of the Ohio River. The Evansville region is known far and wide for the production of appliances, nutritional products, pharmaceuticals, aluminum sheet, automobiles, auto glass, coal and oil, and plastics. The region is also recognized as an agricultural center for corn, soybeans, and wheat.

Over the years, major national corporations have established regional operations and corporate headquarters here – primarily in response to the area’s rich natural resources, diverse transportation routes and productive workforce.

In the last three decades of the 1900s the population for Evansville's Warrick County grew by 87.3%. Per capita income grew by 17.8% between 1993 and 2003 (adjusted for inflation).
